Good morning, internet.
This weeks guest is Andrew Furtado, an aspiring filmmaker (director) who came pretty close to living the dream but then had to leave town suddenly for reasons out of his control and is now trying to retrieve his previous contacts.
Which is an extremely difficult endeavor. When one becomes absent for a hot minute in this town, well people stop calling. It can really hurt you, which is why I still answer and do jobs for things I don’t exactly want to do.
Furtado and I talk about all of that, getting Wayne Brady to like him, assholes who want to watch the Laker’s game (seriously fuck that guy), me co-starring in Andrew’s short film “I Didn’t Break Up With You“, working at Funny or Die as both an intern to eventually directing sketches, and Furtado’s own podcast that he works on over at the Jim and Eddy Talk Shit network.
This is a damn funny episode folks…but a real one. Man tears may or may not happen. Just saying.
